Sarah Van der Noot, Managing Director, began her career in the London residential property market in 1983 working in sales and rentals for blue chip companies and since 1995, having set up London Property Search, has been dedicated to buying quality, prime London property on behalf of British and international clients throughout central London.

A leader in the profession from the industry’s infant stages, what we do is far more involved than simply searching for property and is so comprehensive in order to fully encompass our wish not only to make the process stress free but also enjoyable and wholly rewarding.

What sets London Property Search apart from other search agents?
Independence: London Property Search is an independent and privately owned company. We only work for clients who are buying property. We are not estate agents who work for those selling property and also “dabble” in property search. Neither are we a property “buying arm” attached to an estate agent and therefore we will never be involved in situations involving conflict of interest. This independence allows our interests to be 100% aligned with those of our clients. Fewer and fewer companies, with the required experience, are able to claim this truth.
Experience: Our 13 years experience of the property search industry, along with 25 years in the property market as a whole gives us an unparalleled history to our relationships with estate agents, developers, other property professionals and those “in the know”. It has also allowed us ample time to further our in-depth knowledge of the London residential property market and all the idiosyncrasies of the areas we cover.
Limited Number of Clients: Due to the level of commitment and depth of service we offer, each client engaging our services represents a considerable obligation on our part in terms of time, expense and effort and we will not dilute this by spreading ourselves too thin. Thus, in order to provide the same level of service to each of our clients, we typically work for only 4 to 6 buyers at any one time. It is quite common for other search agents to have 10 or even twelve simultaneous searches on the go.
Exclusivity: Unlike many of the larger property search agencies, we can promise to never take on any two searches which have the same criteria. We only represent one client per search location and price bracket at any one time. Our clients can be completely confident that we put them first with no conflicts of interest prejudicing our judgment.
Service: From the outset our commitment to offering the most comprehensive, personal and bespoke service has allowed us to perfect it. We see ourselves as a service business rather than a property company. Of course, we have to get to the best properties before anyone else, know our market intimately and values precisely. We have to do the most thorough due-diligence and negotiate the best price for our clients but, at the heart of our business we recognize our role as a service provider and not just a property consultant.
Personal Touch: We are not a large corporate outfit where your search will be assigned to one of many executives. The experienced consultant you meet from the outset will be the person you create your relationship with and who will work with you on your search from beginning to end.
